Long time, no blog

I've been hard at it writing books. I just (mostly) finished up The Gathering to turn in later this week, ending a four-book marathon writing spree that started in July. Four 100K books written over seven and a half months. Less than two months per book, yes.

My own fault because I leapt at opporunities (that were good opportunities!), but they all happened at once. Life is like that--you get a huge plateful of things or nothing at all. It goes in cycles. The trick is to learn to enjoy both the plateful and the dearth (hint, sleep during the dearth).

After I turn in this book I'm going to write a novella and another short book as Allyson James, then take a nap.

I heard that I'll be doing a couple workshops at RWA Nationals this year: one with my editor Leah Hultenschmidt on "Title and Premise" a workshop we did at Desert Dreams last year, and one panel of authors and editors talking about world building. The last Nationals I went to was in Dallas and this year is Dallas--at least I know where the restaurants are downtown!

The first three Immortals books are up on Amazon now! I've put links to each at www.immortals-series.com

Deep breath. Relax.......

Four books in seven months??? (At this point, please imagine me sinking down on my knees, whimpering, "I'm not worthy, I'm not worthy.") Gosh. By now I'd have long arrived at the stage where one silently blubbers into one's keyboard. *g*
